Very much so. The process of gathering/installing/updating/synchronizing games on steam have make it so that I dislike having to do outside of it now; it's really practical.

Bah depends who you play with; there's a lot of very smart people who play that game so it's not so hard to have a good piece of fun. They are usually dedicated as well, so pretty welcoming of noobs.
