Give him a couple years.....

Because people who live off of inherited wealth are social  parasites (see Hilton, Paris) - so it should be public policy to discourage the accumulation of great unearned fortunes, by high taxes on the estates of the rich

The United Food and Commercial Workers International Union represents meatpacking workers, among other crafts (their original name back in the day was the Amalgamated MEATCUTTERS Union) - the bulk of unionized meatpacking workers in the US, Canada and Puerto Rico are UFCW members.

Regarding fieldhand unions, there are

That “hard working rural people” sounds like a thinly veiled stereotype (i.e. “lazy urban people”....and you know what “urban” is a euphemism for)

So.....I’ll assume it’s bullshit (especially since urban fast food joints tend to be staffed by recent immigrants.....and nobody works harder than they do)

Two words - YELLOW VESTS

The high gas taxes were a kick in the ass to the rural poor, and they took to the streets because of it

Raise gas taxes, and be prepared to spend revenue on tear gas (cause you’ll need it)

Two words - REGRESSIVE TAXATION

Want more revenue?

Raise income and inheritance taxes on the rich

Also, debt isn’t the problem

Grossly neglected public services is

We’d need much stronger unions, run by leaders who are a lot braver and more willing to struggle, and who hate capitalism, to achieve that

I’d love to stand shoulder to shoulder with you (and several million other workers) and fight for that tho...

You seem really adamant and filled with righteous rage against workers getting paid a decent wage

If you were a millionaire owner of a fast food franchise, or a billionaire who was an heir to a fast food fortune, that rage would actually make sense since it would align with your class position as an exploiter of labor.

Y

It’s not

How about we start with $20 an hour indexed to inflation, with every job required to guarantee their workers a 30 hour a week schedule, with benefits, and letting them know their schedule at least 2 weeks in advance?

That would be a good start

“Lazy”?

Or...smart enough to only put out the minimum effort, since their boss is only paying them the minimum wage?

Why give a $30 an hour level of job performance for $7.25?

If it’s only a temporary job, wouldn’t they be LESS invested than somebody who knows they’re going to be working there for the next 25 years?

I have worked in the factory part of a factory, and I agree with you

If a product is badly designed, the best production workers in the world won’t make it better

This is the problem when you’re rich and mentally ill.

Kanye doesn’t have any real friends around him anymore.... just employees and business partners.

There’s nobody in his life to tell him NO.

If my employer asked me that....my first email would be to HR, my second email would be to my union, and my third email would be to my union’s attorney.

#grievance

Yes, you do

Does that device break the type of glass found on Tesla vehicles?

Firing a gun into an occupied car is tactically unsound- also, depending on the type of glass Teslas have, you might just succeed in making a bullet hole in the glass

Unsafe at any speed

Actually it’s the FAA that determines the qualifications of a pilot

Also, having bad legal representation can be disastrous, which is why there are legal standards about who can and cannot practice law
