It’s cool that you wrote this, but I think anyone just jumping into D2 should know that Bungie does not care about this game’s lore nearly as much as the fans do. They completely botched the storytelling in D1 and unless this is a dramatic change for them, they will most likely continue to botch it.

I bought an Elite controller and regret it--sold it a few months later. One of the bumpers broke--had to fix it. For a controller that’s $150, having bumpers that break more easily than the $50 controller is pathetically sloppy design.
