Nice, I’ve never seen it. I know what I’m torrenting tonight!

Would have really been a thorn in my side if Nintendo had also said, “Yeah you know what Hayter? We’re gonna hire someone else this time. Yeah, sorry. Nothing personal.”
Whoah, I just started playing last year and I didn’t know this existed. Thanks for writing this, Cameron. Now I have another thing to binge watch :P
“We gotta make sure we filter this smut out. What’s that? Oh, the clone games that are just bad ports of really bad phone games? Yeah, those can stay. Those are good earners for us.”
Might not be worth $9 to you, but indie devs have to make money somehow. Steam takes a cut. They have recoup whatever they spent on the game whether that me time and money or time unemployed hoping they would make money after it releases. Just because it doesn’t seem worth $9 to you does not mean the game should be…
Ah, yeah there is a way to fix it but then you basically can’t ever upgrade the card. It sucks. If you are building a PC, wait a week or two and save up money for an Nvidia card. Trust me. They are worth it.
Sounds like maybe a flawed game but I think more games about this should be made. I had a really bad episode once where I went toxic on Lithium and was forced to the hospital by my parents during a time when I was basically cursing their names and saying anything I could to be hurtful to them because I thought they…
More like Liveleak.
I used to like Steam...then I read a few truthful anti-Steam and anti-Valve perspectives that made me realize this company is the not the same thing it was back when they were a scrappy group of developers making a game to compete with Quake. They are rich. They have vacation houses. They want to make more money so…
At least they didn’t get the “rendering device lost” error that every AMD user seems to get if they are not using a VERY specific version of an old driver. But hey, everyone uses nvidia right, so why should AMD or Blizzard take the time to fix it? Everyone can afford a $500 card! Why cater to those who can’t?
My brain says yes but my wallet says hell no.

I totally agree. I like simplistic designs like this. If I am out in public using my laptop, I don’t really want bright lights or curves that are going to draw attention to the fact that yes, I have a very expensive item here that you could easily steal and sell at a pawn shop if I looked away for a moment and gave…
Gaming laptops have to be sexy to be considered good? I like the look of it. I don’t need some laptop with curves and bulges that make it look like a sports car. Trust me, nobody at Starbucks is gonna walk up to me and instantly fall in love with me when they see my laptop.
What was polarizing was the gameplay. Sorry, but I do not enjoy whacking at enemies with a wrench when they jump around constantly and stay about as still as a cat on cocaine. A “story mode” with extremely simple combat and less difficult enemies is badly needed for this game. If the story is actually as good as…
“Halo 3 is widely considered the best Halo”
If you guys enjoyed this, Frank Cfaldi has some great talks about game preservation on youtube.
Totally agree that we speak with our money. If you say “Oh I’m boycotting EA because loot boxes” then STOP BUYING THEIR GAMES! Even if it’s on a discount or used, you are still supporting that developer and making it more likely that EA games get stocked used in the future.
Or you could just, you know, read a book.
Alright if you’re still butthurt decades from now let me know.
I would agree with most of these except the TechKrate. Nobody needs to pay a fee for a service that will randomly send you something you may or may not like or need.
