Yeah, I’ve been subbed to /r/gamedevclassifieds for years and the posts saying something like, “50/50 split” or “rev share” get way more action than something like “Paid per song” or “possible profit after launch.” 

I suggested a similar “spread of wealth” at a startup I briefly worked at, and the CTO walking by burst out loud laughing and made some snide comment about how socialism never works.
