Yeah, sounds nice...

I get why Epic does this but...they are already making more money than they know what to do with. Is 30% really that bad? Every distribution platform takes some cut unless its run by the developer/publisher of the game.

I am garbage at Fortnite though, so it’s not really something that bothers me.

I have yet to find someone who enjoys my “sleeps in a car” look. Guess I need to start hanging out in diners.

I would like to see a team call themselves the “X” with people who are actually from that city. Something about paying Koreans to play esports for us and acting like it represents American culture just seems weird. I have nothing against Koreans. But would people like the Lakers if everyone on the team didn’t live in

Damn dude that was informative af.

So weird to imagine Magic players back in those days playing vs. how massive and complex the game is now.

Yeah, I’ve been subbed to /r/gamedevclassifieds for years and the posts saying something like, “50/50 split” or “rev share” get way more action than something like “Paid per song” or “possible profit after launch.”

I suggested a similar “spread of wealth” at a startup I briefly worked at, and the CTO walking by burst out loud laughing and made some snide comment about how socialism never works.

Oh, don’t worry. He’s almost penniless living with his parents now.

How dare a journalism outlet not praise a popular streamer team...? Seems weird to accuse a site of “bias” on something like that. Like...could you accuse a journalist of being biased towards sexism if they said they loved Notch’s tweets?  *shrug*

Yes to all these, but no streams by Jerma is an incomplete list in my opinion. That guy is so funny and upbeat even when he’s playing a bad game or dealing with illness or clearly dealing with a lot of stress outside his streaming life. He puts it all beside when he streams and puts out quality stuff every single time.

If you have to fly to Switzerland for surgery in order to maximize your chance of surviving...you might live in a country with absolute dogshit healthcare options!

Yeah, I tried it out at a board game rental/hangout space with some friends (BAD IDEA FOR A DOUBLE DATE—-DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT TAKING SOMEONE YOU RECENTLY STARTED DATING TO A PLACE TO PLAY BOARD GAMES UNLESS YOU KNOW THE AIR CONDITIONER IS GOING TO FUNCTION EXTREMELY WELL—THE REGRET—THE REGRET)

Never seen this in my city. Had one or two with dash cams pointing at the road, but that makes total sense when you ride in a city with a lot of illegal immigrant drivers or elderly people with licenses expired long ago.

Honestly, I loved Lyft because driving stresses me out way too much (have totalled two cars in the

I look forward to them seeing some of Patton Oswalt’s tweets after he inevitably gets hired for a voice on Ratatouille 2. HOO BOY. That is one power Twitter user who would not abandon ship if he was accused of not sailing correctly.

ehhh...I don’t agree. Unless you are so famous that people in almost every first world country know your name and your work, you will be fine 99.9% of the time on Twitter unless you are a massive dick who goes around trying to start shit and tear people down extremely deliberately.

For example, if I went to a local

Ok, Zack, saying there “is a lot” to this update is okay, but is it engaging? Is it comparable to Ballad of Gay Tony..? Does it have the bleached, polished to a sheen style and feeling of GTA in general, or does it feel grimy and smoky like the themes in whatever they called the biker DLC from IV?

I need to know this

Yeah it’s not necessarily funny. I think what IS funny is that in flight simulation video games, people will take the FTC position and direct flyers around and many flyers are child gamers who barely understand how to land and take off properly so yeah. Go Youtube “FTC - Microsoft Flight Simulator” and you can thank

And people wonder why these guys get paid so much. Compared to something like your basic customer service rep job or even a manager job at a retail store, this is leagues of magnitude more stress. You’re not just directing employees to get things stocked efficiently. These are human lives on the line if paths cross or

There are days where you write a funny article and think maybe Kotaku would like it enough to pick it up...and then you see this and you start back at Square One.

Doin me a regret.
