Are the electric motors from a remote control toy?
I’m actually surprised at how few of these I can remember seeing in red. I know I’ve seen a lot of silver, green, gray, black, and white. A few with the light blue metallic. Did I just ignore the red ones?
Definitely erect that top to make sure the saggy glove box syndrome doesn’t go any deeper into the car.
From the outside I first thought this very same car was for sale at $10,000 less on Hemmings. It’s definitely much more worn than today’s offering. Strangely-enough I’m still thinking NP, even after seeing this one.
This was my first thought.
Comparing my knees between three years ago vs now was drastically different. What’s your point? Are you living in the past? Can I join you?
A coworker of mine from a prior job drove a maroon P1800 carbureted coupe, commuting from Canada to the US every day. The car was a real looker! She said it was a dog on the highway, but she loved it too much not to drive it. This car will turn heads wherever you take it.
Anyone I knew who had a Saturn loved it. NP for condition, brand loyalty, and weird used car inflation.
I think it’s neat. It looks pretty well done (from a distance). Not enough detail images or measurements of the load area. Not enough information about how strong it might be. This pricing is probably fair for custom work like this, but only if you’re the one commissioning the work.
Most of the cars I’ve seen on fire (up to several at this point), were GMC. There was at least one, very unfortunate Ford Flex.
If we’re talking high school, then we’re talking nostalgia. I’d grab a Porsche 959 and skip the gathering.
I tried to speak to someone I didn’t recognize at my 20th reunion. Asked them what their ‘thing’ was in high school: Business, sports, music, computers, shop....
The whole “impress people at your reunion” thing comes from people who anchor on high school as the best days of their lives. I’m doing a whole lot better without it, thank you!
You are wonderfully predictible!
I would take the car and skip the reunion. I went to my 5 year and 20 year reunions. There wasn’t anything worthwhile, and my cover charge paid for and average meal and other people’s drinks.
I admit that the extra set of wheels and snow tires sweeten the deal, but this is a bit of a stretch. Considering it’s tuned and those studs aren’t the best tire for my state, I’d pass.
I must admit that I have spent more time than expected showing potential buyers my cars, when they really weren’t legit. And these weren’t exciting cars. I wonder if you just asked in a mature way to drive it without funds if they would allow it. Perhaps it’s just a basic screening process in the wacky world of…
I gave up on the Lions when they fired Caldwell. They were crap for 15 years, Schwartz was up and down, and Caldwell seemed to have the team consistently performing above their talent level.
That’s ridiculous! Everyone can see it’s just a harmless cup of....AAARGH! Run AWAY! RUN AWAY!!!!
