I’ve also commented that after an accident, especially impact accidents, the individual is NOT in a position to evaluate their own health. I’ve experienced this myself with bicycle accidents. Shock is not always your friend, as it takes a chunk of your brain and nervous system off-line.

We should never believe anyone who says, “I’m okay!” after an impact accident. Shock is the first symptom, and you have no effing business evaluating your health in that moment!

I am in the camp that many people move to SUVs and crossovers for the larger sidewall on the tires, even if they don’t realize it. Yes, entry height and the myth that they need AWD and 12" of ground clearance play a factor, but I think decent tire designs are under appreciated right now.

I’ve met narcissistic pricks who wear blue jeans. YOU don’t wear blue jeans, do you? {Clucks tongue disdainfully......}

I’m guessing it’s a point-and-shoot camera where the lens retracts and covers itself. My further guess is that a water droplet dried on the lens, or was actively there when the pictures were snapped.

Yeah, I agree with many people who find basic liquor to be much preferable to those with sugar and additives. Ever been hungover on Irish creme or Southern Comfort? UGH! Much worse than sticking to straight whiskey, vodka, tequila, or scotch. (I don’t know about gin.)

Wow! 944 S2 coupes are going for crazy money! This seems well-enough cared-for and seems in line. I’m not sure why people are complaining about dust on seats. This person didn’t detail the interior, but you can accurately evaluate the condition of things, and nothing looks off-putting to me.

You reminded me that driving lessons specialized for wet, winter, extreme sport, or other safety is probably more useful than adding “things” to your car.

I was trying to figure out how to say this. You did a fine job.

I’ve seen worse ads, worse cars, and worse pricing. I’m not going to make the worst decision and buy it, though. He did remove the water bottle for later shots, but the decals and badging are too much.

I like the T-Rex parody decal. I think the truck running over the family looks like a threat. It’s not funny, especially when people are actually using their cars as weapons against strangers.

Speaking of: for a bargain $400.00 you can get a Ship Stuck In The Suez Canal Lego set!

I was hopeful for the Pal-V, since it is more like a motorcycle than a car, and uses autogiro technology, instead of helicopter or airplane technology. In the end, center of balance, lack of good air performance, and lack of road worthiness will continue to doom these vehicles.

Flying cars and electric aircraft are sexy ideas, so people will start companies and use flashy digital renders to rake in the investment money. At this point they hire their friends and family, make a cheap, plastic mockup that will never fly, and close their doors 3-7 years later after taking a hefty salary.

Either way, I’m wondering how Lego was supposed to know that this one element was not covered in their Netflix agreement. Wouldn’t this somehow be Netflix’s responsibility?

I deserve a big cool Lego set more than any snot-nosed kid does, is all I’m saying.

Do you enjoy them? I find them to be like three dimensional jigsaw puzzles that can be altered or completely rearranged into a custom build. Solving some of the engineering challenges in custom Lego builds can be quite rewarding.

If this is the set I remember, the backstory is that it is a pirate lair made out of an old ship, and a side-build allows you to recreate much of that ship.

It was 1* F yesterday morning when I went to pick up the spawn from track practice. I was 15mins early, so, yeah, I kept the damn heater on while I waited in the car

Why are Americans so adverse to turning off their cars in parking lots? I sometimes hang out in my daughter’s gymnastics lesson’s parking lot, and some people run their engines while they get out and drop off their kids (2-4 minutes) or pick them up (5-10 minutes), and then get in and sit there with the engine running
