High speed cameras need an insane amount of light because the shutter speed is so fast.

This.  You’d be surprised how bright you need a room to be, when taking pictures this fast.  Dark crash test videos are useless.  This whole thing is happening in less than 50 milliseconds.

Most grating is the “Nazi armed forces.” I’ve seen “Nazi Luftwaffe” elsewhere.

It’s dumb and lazy. The Nazis were a political party. The Luftwaffe was, and is, the German Air Force. Using them together is ignorant; it’s like seeing an F-35 overheard and shouting “there goes a Republican Air Force plane!”
