Are you referring to those vehicles out there with big, black plastic, chrome paint accented, fake grilles, which have very little actual opening? I know we use grills to give our cars personality, but I’m not sure about this trend.

And what do you do with that occasional car repair? You’ve completely negated the ‘advantage’ of having a new care.

The closest I’ve seen to a “brown, manual wagon” in the past several years is a Mazda 3 hatchback. Even the Panamera doesn’t qualify.

Real life example: I had a 15 year old minivan in good condition which broke a transmission on a trip. When explaining this to a 45 year old PhD at a university, he told me, “You need to go buy a brand new one. With 0% financing, you can practically drive for free!”.

 Not to mention, workers are receiving 0-3% annual increases, while “Executives” are receiving 10-15% annual increases, and inflation is higher than the politicians will officially recognize. (Why does inflation not include the cost of food and automobiles? It’s not like one can easily survive without those in…

Because the banking industry is currently floating on lies and liars. Why is such an important industry allowed to sell the same thing more than once? Does any other industry allow that?

I would happily keep this car below the limits (most of the time) if someone gave me a cracked frame GT40. Straight line acceleration can’t stress the frame too much, can it?

You can tell those people that “Basic Physics” only exists on an exam papers. In the real world, life is complicated. That’s why everything is so computerized these days, to compensate for more and more variables. When the computers work, everything works better and lasts longer. Unfortunately, there is more to go…

I’m in line with many of the commenters. You will NEVER ride in a car like this again. This generation was supposed to have a fantastic ride. This one is in museum quality condition. The car is bigger than most dorm rooms or New York apartments. Unless you’re living in it, though, that’s a lot of clams.

The bench seat is large and roomy, but it corners like a house!

I always figured that script writers are so stuck in their formulaic movies that they are out of touch with reality. Or maybe I should just stop watching movies.
