I actually was wondering if they could weigh it down to get it under the bridge, but the difference might be more than I’m thinking.

The less you take something apart, the longer it usually lasts. Damage and wear when you take things apart and put them back together is not negligible. It also disturbs the patina on historic structures, so they sometimes look like crap afterward.
I was probably thinking about the latest GM truck fenders and the similarly, but not quite as large SUV fenders. The C-pillars and small back windows don’t help, but that’s happening with all vehicles.
I’m sure my lighting fast reflexes and constant vigilance will protect me from drivers who spend more time looking at their screen and phone than the road. (It HAS worked so far, but.....)
Glad to hear you don’t experience trail-edition trucks with large trailer-hitches sticking out way past their bumpers.
First of all, you dismantle the institutional racism, so people start on a more even ground. Second of all, you try to dismantle the stereotypes that people use to justify their racism. You make sure people know it is not acceptable.
Yep. Both Caldwell and Flores took shit franchises and made them respectable, and got canned for some milquetoast white man who doesn’t know what he’s doing, but he can buddy up to the people in charge. These professional sports organizations should not be receiving the government benefits that they receive. What a…
As if we have the infrastructure and government support for mass transit in the USA. It’s a nice idea, though.
It’s hard to feel safe in a smaller car. Trucks and SUVs are taller, heavier, and have less visibility than ever. Add in the seldom-used trailer hitches and less effort by the designers, and why would people want a small car?
Nah! I learned to drive on a Mustang II hatchback with t-tops with this exact engine-transmission combo. This might be better with the solid roof, but this is only a slow-car-slow experience.
That is a really young deer. I doubt it survived, as it was probably still relying on it’s mother for guidance. Whether they truly knocked it out or just decided to pick up a terrified joey is not for me to speculate.
That machete is a kukri.
Yeah, what he said. I don’t know what my fingers (or brain) were doing when I typed that.
I agree. Headlights are one of the iconic visual features on an automobile. Having them go too abstract too soon is not something I appreciate. Automobiles have had useless asctetic features for several decades. I don’t see a problem if it’s not an active performance marketing deception.
I’m vaccinated and boostered and still caught COVID from a store which had 50% mask compliance and I was masked. It is not fun. I’m not in the hospital, but I am NOT very comfortable. I was also likely exposed to COVID in October when my daughter caught it. Until the hospitals are regularly under capacity, and people…
Until enough people actually get their vaccines, this virus will continue to mutate and screw with us. This whole “COVID is fake” shit is really annoying.
How about a non-runner, expensive Ferrari?
I can see a bit of a markup because this car has the excellent color combo of black over tan! (Possibly the best color combo on the 308 GTB-GTS models.) The dealer know what is has, though, which is why they aren’t providing details.
I DO like the look of these! Reminds me of grade school when we’d put thumbtacks into erasers to make cars. The shapes are similar to the rhomboid and rectangular erasers available to us.
At least he didn’t deny it, like a lot of entitled lawbreakers. (“You can’t prove that I was drunk when I hit that person and killed them, but I didn’t stop because I thought it was a deer, but look, the persons head went through my windshield and his eyeglasses are on my front seat. I thought that deer looked like a…
