Maybe if there were a few dissenting views sprinkled in here—just for fun.

I know at least 5 soldiers who were the most pro-Trump people I’ve ever seen. One to the point where he wouldn’t go to Chipotle, because he heard the donated to Hillary’s campaign, so he went to Qdoba instead. That is making a big fucking sacrifice to not “support” Clinton.

Anecdotal evidence is meaningless. The last survey I saw had Trumps approval among active military very high.

My gender is an asteroid.... not just any asteroid, 2015 RF36.

Sometimes y’all expect too much out of people who tell jokes for a living. This conversation is like the one over on Jez about how bad Dave Chappelle is now because he didn’t go crazy talking shit and trying to start a revolution on his first-ever SNL hosting gig. He did a long monologue that ended with a well-told

That sentence you quoted right there encapsulates the problem. “You are either 100% with us, or 100% against us.” That is the viewpoint of a person who lives in safe-space bubble that does not reflect the complexity or range of opinions of an entire fucking country.

I just realized this morning that I am a pan-racial gluten-free fair-trade gender-werewolf, so we are now up to 44, you vehement racist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

“which would have been fine, we can laugh at ourselves”

The problem with the Democratic party is that it’s not an inclusivist movement. It masquerades as one, but it’s really become an exclusivist reactionary movement. It isn’t saying, “Let’s all work together toward a goal.” but rather, “Let’s unite traditionally excluded groups and fight against the traditional

How dare a comedian not jump aboard the Correct Way to Think. What nerve!

only reason it’s not an F is because it’s absurdly ironic the author is Jordan Sargent

B+ joke

No, every good liberal knows there are 43. fucking oppressive shitlords at tinder

The joke was OK. Not great, but OK. Jost is pretty funny.

Is our hysteria about Trump at such a fever pitch that we will even turn on someone who is essentially saying, “this isn’t a surprise, this isn’t the apocalypse, and this too shall pass?”

Last I checked, none of those other comedians tepidly endorsed Trump. If anything, they’ve adamantly come out against him. Sorry you don’t like my opinion, but, to me at least, it’s pretty damn close to the truth.

People on here basically have a stick up their ass about comedy when it doesn’t fit perfectly within their worldview. Dave’s monologue was amazing and hilarious. It might not have been delivered in a nice SJW approved way, but it was overwhelmingly forward thinking and Pro Black. End of the day he’s still a guy

Couldn’t agree more. Its almost like people on here forget that a good standup isn’t going to give you their message in a nice clean package.

What was odious, that he was going to give him a chance? Or that he didn’t think Hillary was the great white Hope? The man tells fn jokes, you shouldn’t expect or what him to give you everything in a nice clean socially acceptable package. The end of his monologue on SNL was one of the most positive, Pro Black things

No he’s not.
