Could someone explain Whedon's "response"? It makes absolutely no sense to me.

You mean telepathic powers right? If he had telekinetic powers, he could arguably use them to hold himself up and still have his powers.

TELEPATHIC POWERS.

Jeezy Chreezy. It's called respect. It's no wonder they despise it, as that concept is foreign to them.

"The best part of this is seeing how respectful his kids are..."

I read that, and I could've posted the exact same thing. I COMPLETELY understand this. And it's sort've comforting knowing someone else out there knows about detecting one about to happen and riding it out.

Eh, Snyder's problems were more in how we handled the depiction of certain individual scenes (ie; the violence porn of the the elevator assassin scene) rather than the major story beats. And his replacement for the giant squid was actually pretty sensible, and was a good fit for the story.

The main barriers are political. If you say the word "Nuclear" people just stop listening and say "Nope." In fact, that's the actual reason why MRI machines are called Magnetic Resonance Imaging instead of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Imaging. If patients heard "Nuclear," they simply would not get in the machine even

I'll add one more item to your great list of how to not screw up nuclear power:

You're a fool - all the *credible* evidence (not NATURALNEWS.COM or some other green hippie bullshit) has repeatedly shown that Fukishima contaminants will never be a problem in North America, and it's impact on the Pacific is negligible. Maybe if you stopped for a few seconds to think instead of reacting you'd

Or they just posted a factual scientific article about how the Nuclear accident in Japan isn't dangerous to the West coast of North America.

Prove it. With science. I'll wait.

Stop. I'm going to hurt myself if I roll my eyes any harder.

The first paragraph ends with: "projections point to good news."

You might want to put the "Don't Panic!" information (i.e. "this is not an environmental or human-health threat") at the top of the article...

I have no idea what you are talking about. I'm not mad that other people have opinions. I'm mad because of the opinions they have. In this cause, that opinion is "Tech people are ruining San Francisco and making it unaffordable" which is bullshit and claptrap on so many levels. This city has ALWAYS been

I'm absolutely sick of the hate for techies. I'm a "techie." I'm 40, and have been a web developer for almost 20 years. I live in San Francisco. I'm not some johnny-come-lately to the tech scene; I was in tech during the dot-com boom and long before that.
