There are a few, at least if you live in a major metropolitan area in the U.S. and/or go to small venues. I haven't used Ticketmaster to buy concert tickets in nearly 2 years.
It's still a pain to send money to someone who uses a different bank, so services like PayPal and Venmo are pretty useful.

You should check out Syndicated in Bushwick. It's much smaller than Nitehawk but I like the layout more and there's a full bar attached to the front. The food is only so-so, though.
