Do you honestly think Rory would be capable of running her own business?
Do you honestly think Rory would be capable of running her own business?
Just a correction, Rory didn't break up with Logan. It was the other way around. She refused his proposal and he said it had to be all or nothing and walked away.
My assumption that she had roommates was based on her comments in "Summer," I think it was, where Rory said she was thinking about moving to Queens and explicitly stated not needing a roommate as a perk. The implication for me was that she had roommates previously and living in Queens would allow her to live alone.
I couldn't have said it better. Rory was always the least interesting part of the cast. I'm glad that ASP just embraced the fact that Rory is terrible. I just wish everyone around her didn't indulge her all the time.
There's no defending Rory, as her character was the absolute worst, but I don't think she figured Logan to be useless father, more so that by telling him she was pregnant it would completely destroy the life that was planned for him. Mitchum would likely resent Rory in the same way that Christopher's dad resented…
She didn't have her own place in Brooklyn; she had roommates.
Um yes, obviously. But I disagree that option 1 is a shitty one to begin with but that's down to personal taste. People like what's familiar and if it's good and familiar then even better.
You say that like it's a bad thing. I think being derivative of fun, catchy music is better, entertainment-wise, than making original, bland pop music.
So this all boils down to a childish "no, you first!" rhetoric?
Blue collar white folks are doing worse than most of the general population so I'm not going to take some random yahoo's opinion on education policy with much regard.
Children hardly have any personal choice afforded to them, legally and socially, and with their developing brains they usually don't understand long-term consequences of their actions or inaction.
I'm pretty young and I remember taking Algebra in 8th grade but as part of the honors track, it wasn't required. This push for STEM must be VERY new. Either way, the public education system has been lagging behind in terms of history and civics for a very long time.
True but I don't think that's the result of pushing STEM over civics and history. There wasn't any particular push for STEM in my very academic high school in NY and it was still rare that a history class covered history past the mid-20th century, except for in the honors history class.
He looks like an older, brown-haired version of Rupert Grint.
As someone who grew in NYC and experienced 9/11 first-hand with some friends & family directly affected by it, I don't think a year & a half is "too soon". It's not like they were critical of 9/11 itself but Bush and his cabinet's actions afterwards.
This trailer has upgraded my hopes for this revival from cautiously optimistic to straight up optimistic!
Hahahaha touché.
Two A's from Dowd in one day? What is happening!?
It's not the hair length. I'm pretty sure it's a wig that Lucas Till wears in the show and it's a crappy one.
It might seem gimmicky but as a self-described awkward black girl growing up, I definitely rapped to myself in the bathroom. Those moments of Issa in front of the mirror are oh so relatable for me.
