YOU DON’T GET NO BETTER SHOW THAN THIS

In regards to Dax Shepard’s continued existence — Do people really dig the whole smarmy frat guy you had middling, drunken sex with on a Wednesday night after $1 Yager shots and groping on the dance floor to Semisonic’s Closing Time thing?

I believe the writer of her biography Shadowland was a Scientologist and invented Farmer’s lobotomy. It was this book which was then adapted into Frances starring Jessica Lange.

This would be more interesting if it didn’t potentially reek of pro-Scientology-ness. (See the Frances Farmer biopic Frances.) Whereas Kennedy was lobotomized and Farmer actually was not, Rosemary Kennedy is still a topic Scientologists could eagerly run (amok) with.

If anyone wants to watch a truly entertaining period soap set in a department store, go find Velvet on Netflix. Its from Spain and I have sometimes referred to it as my happy place. Everyone needs to watch Velvet.

I’m so confused as to why this movie is what it is when I’ve inadvertently seen it on the Hallmark Channel 700 times.

Its a terrible and pointless piece of garbage. Which still annoys me because I enjoyed The Virgin Suicides and Middlesex so much. Disappointed to hear this promises much of the same as The Marriage Plot, the existence of which still annoys me to at least a 7 on a scale of 1 to Battlestar Galactica finale.

Jane Fonda has literally done everything first and will still always be better at doing it than anyone after her because Jane Fonda is a living goddess.

Between Kitsch and Michael Shannon, I have high hopes this will be the second coming of the Powers Boothe’s Jim Jones as far as miniseries docudramas about cults go.
