Manual shifting of auto trans helps for sure but its nowhere near as smooth as using a manual, and finesse is the name of the game when towing heavy up and down steep grades in the slick stuff.

Whats not to understand? Greater control over engine speed and gearing is superior in limited traction situations, especially when towing.

the only popeyes in my town is on the army base and the next one is 400 miles away. but i gotta try this somehow

manuals are way superior in snow country

i saw big freedia perform at a waterpark while on acid and it was one of the greatest things ive ever seen.  thats all

my dad found a cherry e30 for $900 - well, it was cherry except for a blown engine, but he figured that wouldn’t be too big a deal. its been 6 years and who knows how much money, and the thing still hasn’t run.

i will try this recipe with some of my salmon that i caught and smoked this summer.  i do smoked salmon dip a LOT but tend to always wing it, sometimes its not quite right.

mmmm barleywine verticals. my favorite way to black out and consume 5000 calories.

honestly, we could talk all day about how SN revolutionized multiple segments of the craft beer market, but how fucking crazy is it that Celebration has been brewed since 1981??  Every year when it comes out and I have one, I cannot comprehend how mindblowing tasting that must have been in the 80s.  There was no

i struggle to keep it for a full year.  but i’m a masochist and love those fresh, hot american barleywines

my dad was an early craft beer guy, and SNPA was the first beer I ever had. I fuckin hated it, little did I know how many i’d end up consuming over my lifetime. SN is still a great example of what independent craft brewing should look like, scaled. I wish more breweries looked to them as their model rather than

if its anthing like muskrat or beaver, tasty, but a little greasy.  we could find out, its still legal to trap otter yknow

while i agree snowshoeing is the absolute worst, you dont need a full AT setup to get around in fresh snow.  fat XC skis or even altai skis work, probably better

not if the pavement is covered in ice from november to march like alaska.

they dont kill the roads if you’re driving on ice and snow all year.  then they are lifesavers

Yes, because i am a garbage human.

when my wife lived in calgary she didnt own a car, and we used car2go a lot when i was visiting. very easy, convenient.

I love complex lambics and american wilds, but sometimes a simple sour is the perfect refresher.  On a hot summer day, I love to have a Wittekerke Wild - a belgian made, american style, kettle sour with a can that looks like bad clip art...but man, they hit the spot.

shockingly large on the inside too.  if we didnt live in moose and snow country, i would get one for my wife

for some reason they let me drive one of these around downtown richmond va when i was 17, one of the best days of my life
