This looks like a good clothing alteration project to me. Read about applique here http://tadacreations.blogspot.com/2010/02/how-to…. Now applique two hearts of increasing size, a white one and a red one, onto a blue long-sleeve t-shirt, and sew a second white collar into it. Or, alternately, you could tie-dye the

Been there before. Glad you figured it out and left him. :)

I'm adding a caveat: owns a cape and wears it outside of cosplay.

I personally like to shave because long hair is really annoying to me, especially when you're on your period. I couldn't care less what people I date do with their pubic hair.

maybe he just met him on a bad day. Hope so!

oh god! SportsCenter during sex? That's a dealbreaker.

link? :) or article title?

yes oh my god. that stuff is more important to them than anything or anyone. It's so depressing and frustrating.

The control thing makes sense. My dad was one of eight kids, and his family was horribly dysfunctional; he was the one that was most ignored. He is a horrible father and we are not even on speaking terms right now, but I do feel sorry for him. He definitely must have felt powerless as a child.

Very helpful. Thanks. :)

Oh, ok. That makes sense. What I had read sort of indicated that you could be either obsessive or compulsive, or both, and be considered OCD.

Oh, interesting. That sounds more like anxiety, from what I've experienced, but I have not experienced the ritualistic need to do something in patterns. I'm so sorry you have to experience that. How is it treated?

yeah, there probably is. My dad keeps a lot of things. Empty plastic milk jugs; rotten wood; anything he thinks will maybe be usable again. He has two double-car garages and two outdoor sheds full of stuff and recently built a basement to keep extra stuff in, and my parents' house is also really cluttered inside. My

My dad is a hoarder. As a result, I have thought for most of my adult life that I have OCD about my house being perfect and beautiful. I have had fights with roommates about how they want to decorate, and I HATE clutter and little kitschy decorations. My house is very minimalist.

Oh, ok. Interesting. What would be considered a direct connection between an obsession and a compulsion?

I think I just read this somewhere. There are a few places where info on OCD suggests it: http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/hoardin… for one. My dad is a hoarder, so I was trying to find out about it. I don't know, I definitely feel like it's kind of a compulsion.

Ok. Thank you, that makes sense.

I've heard that before but never seen it. Sweet dress! You look awesome. What was the event?

Isn't hoarding a manifestation of obsessive-compulsive disorder though?

Yeah, I read the series at 17, and I had no idea what objectivism was at the time. The preachy shit (especially in The Pillars of Creation, if I remember correctly) is kind of annoying, and I have also read a TON of hate toward the series, but I just remember it being so entrancing and unique and I loved the detail
