It seems as though one could completely exhaust oneself responding to every point she/he makes, to no avail. She/he doesn’t take one’s responses into consideration. I am often conflicted and confused about how to engage or disengage from some such people .

There’s no real reason people shouldn’t be guaranteed representation in civil cases. Obviously, Weinstein can afford it, but plenty of people can’t and, while the consequences of a civil case aren’t the same as those of a criminal case, the money won or lost is incredibly important for a lot of people.

If a male lawyer were trying to build a career as a crusader, he’d catch shit, too.

This isn’t about gender, it’s about hypocrisy. And I have seen male attorneys criticized for taking on clients who are in direct opposition to that attorney’s previous public stance. In the area where I live there is a prominent attorney whose primary work was environmental protection cases and was quite publicly…

I have expectations because of the cases she’s taken in the past, not because of her biology. You’re projecting.
