Nope. The Mercedes SLs in the 90's had the best cupholders. Check this out.

I’ve only had AEB in loaner/rental cars. In the short time I’ve driven with it, I’ve had two false positive activations. Both times it nearly got me into a wreck rather than keeping me out of one.

This looks way less dangerous than the Jeep.

Another factor to consider is the difference in track temperature.  I don’t remember how hot it was when Hamilton set his F1 time, but it is definitely quite a bit chillier in Texas right now.  Unless the IndyCars have some very, very soft winter tires, I’m sure they never got into their temperature window.  As

There are way too many boring black/white/silver/gray (sorry grey) cars out there. I approve of this color choice.

One, I haven’t done my taxes yet. Two, I have no doubt that lots of people got screwed by the tax changes. Three, I have no idea if I am one of those people (see point one).

The author of that book is not a nuclear power plant engineer.  I’m going to need to see his references and interviews before I accept his answers.

I especially liked the back portion that they’re tearing up.  It looks simple on the track map, but it was fast, fun, and really tested your commitment.

That corner held special memories for me. I attended a DE there and we ran the track clockwise, so that corner was the end of the straight. I scared my instructor when I passed a car at the end of the straight and carried way more speed into that corner than I had been. Car handled it just fine, so then I knew I’d

Torch, for once, is right.  I know someone who has a one-owner Avante.  That thing draws a crowd like nothing else.  People will catch a glimpse from 3 blocks away and coming running over to see it and completely lose their minds.

Awesome.  Call me when the Russians or Australians start racing them.

The word you are looking for is wringer.

Is an F1 team complaining about the regulations? Good. The only time an F1 team stops complaining is when it’s dead.

I love the inclusion of Clippy on one of the screen in the background.

I think the extra realism would be better received in things like sports, nature/outdoors shows, and even some dramas than it would be in Sci-Fi/Fantasy and action movies.  The more the viewer needs to suspend their disbelief the more the extra realism works against them.

So much this! I saw Hobbit in HFR, and to me it looked too real. What I mean by that is the scene in Bilbo’s home with the dwarves. Bilbo is sitting at a table with a candle on it. In traditional movies at traditional framerates, my mind can be tricked into thinking it’s a hobbit in a hole in the ground sitting at a

The image made me think of this.

Wow! I can’t believe how far ahead of the times I was. Way back in ‘95, the VTEC badge fell off of my Integra GS-R, and I never put it back on. Do you count as trend-setter if you first did something a quarter century before it caught on? Or does it just make you a slow-burn hipster?

You are correct that the sextant and clock are both required for east-west positioning. But the sextant alone can get you north-south by measuring the north star (in the Northern Hemisphere).  It was the addition of reliable timekeeping devices that let sailors get their complete position.  There’s a reason why the US

The mechanical clock had a far bigger impact on navigation than anything else.  Until sailors had a reliable mechanical timepiece, they were essentially guessing at how far east or west they were.
