Without a doubt, it was the ‘93 Dodge Shadow I was saddled with when my Integra spent 7 weeks in the body shop after being rear-ended. It was gutless. The headliner overlapped the back window by 3 inches which left you with no visibility. The gas gauge was accurate to +/- 1/4 tank. Driving home after dark the very

Totally agree.  Check the qualifying times.  Even Williams is well within the old 107% rule.  It wasn’t too many years ago that some teams were in real danger of failing to make the cut and be excluded from the race.

Jacques Villeneuve winning the 1995 Indy 500 after being handed a 2-lap penalty has to count for something.

Yes. It also reduces downforce. The DRS Zones are only on straights where downforce isn’t needed. The flap goes back to its normal, higher downforce position as soon as the driver pushes the brake pedal at the end of the straight and needs the downforce again for maximum braking performance.

BMW Z3 in Goldeneye. It was there for nothing more than to be a car commercial in the middle of a movie.

I hope you/Jack put some Marvel Mystery Oil or other lubricant in the cylinders before you turned the crank by hand. A little lube can go a long way to helping free up the pistons and minimize scoring of the cylinder walls.

Because his dad is tosser who crashed Montoya out of the lead in Brazil 2001 while being lapped.

Everyone who likes morning sun can move to the eastern edge of a time zone.  Everyone who likes evening sun can move to the western edge.  Easy peasy.  It’s almost like the people making these decisions have never left their hometown.

This thread is worthless without audio.  I want to hear that engine.

It can do it. The problem is getting back to the call. My first android put an entry in the notifications. So you had to swipe into the notification area and then select the correct one to get back to call controls. Now I get a big floating button that is either camouflaged by my icons or hiding what I need to do.

Have they fixed the “You’re on a call but need to do look up something on your phone bug”? Or the can’t switch in and out of the Contacts app bug?

Ireland. We flew into Dublin, rented a car, and just took off. No plans. No reservations. The backroads were amazing. Light traffic, beautiful scenery, wonderful food, and friendly people.  You are never more than 20 minutes from the next small town, and they almost all have B&Bs with rooms available. Stop whenever.

It’s okay. You can say it. There’s no need to candy-coat your minced words.  That abomination is seriously fugly.

I wouldn’t be surprised if there were some very strange wind patterns at the edge of that gorge.

My wife’s Jeep Cherokee has a radio that CAN NOT BE TURNED OFF. Your only options are to turn the volume down to zero, or press the “mute” button. If you press the “mute” button (which any reasonable driver would mistake for the “power” button), it defaults to unmuted the next time you turn it on.

My Acura does a pretty reasonable job with the automatic climate control. It blasts when it needs to, and slows down when it doesn’t. It also waits for the engine to warm up before it tries to run the heater.

TTs look like cheap props from a dystopian sci-fi movie.  You’d have to pay me to take one (so I could buy something else and send the TT to the shredder where it belongs).  ND all day, every day.

Or just repeal the PAEA requirement to front-load their pension obligations, and their balance sheet will look a whole lot better.

How did I not know about this? I hope at least one of the cars is the proper color.
