Arrgggghhhh!!!!! Why must you curse me so?!?!?
I had just gotten a Porsche 944 Turbo and gone to pick up one of my friends early on a Saturday morning. He lived out in the boonies with lots of mostly empty, country roads around him. So as soon as we hit the road, I was giving it full boost on the straights and having to stand on the brakes hard for the 90-degree…
FIAT is answer, too?
I generally consider the two of them to be interchangeable because P.D.Q. Bach is an invention of Peter Schickele. So I suppose you are closer to the truth. All P.D.Q. Bach pieces are written by Peter Schickele. No Peter Shickele pieces are written by P.D.Q. Bach.

Our system, to a large degree, relies on social sanction rather than laws to prevent powerful people from getting too far out of line. When our most powerful person is willing to ignore all of that, there is not much in place to stop him.
Parachutes are also a problem. And hang gliders. And surf boards. And sail boats.
Now that’s a tricky one that my simple definition is going to have trouble with.
I would argue that the tug boat is the vehicle and the barge is a floating cargo container. With an 18-wheeler, is the trailer a vehicle on its own, or does it need a cab connected to it?
Is a barge a vehicle, or is it just a floating container?
As several people have pointed out, I missed the category of gravity power. This category includes things like bobsleds, gliders, roller coasters, and soapbox derby racers. I’d put all of them in the not-vehicle category.
Easy-peasy. Does the source of motive power move? If yes, then it’s a vehicle. If no, then it’s not.
The The Angels Angels? (The Los Angeles Angels)
Back in the mid-90s, my car got rear-ended and had to go the hospital (body shop). I got stuck with a Dodge Shadow by the insurance company.
It’s up to 11.5 years. And for that to be the average age, there are many cars quite a bit older than that.
BSFC is where it’s at. Just understanding what it measures and what units it’s in will tell you everything you need to know about every car on the road.
Edit to add: You could make the system work something like this: Legacy side brake lights come on for light braking, CHMSL comes on for hard braking (above .2G for example), CHMSL starts flashing for emergency braking (above lets say .4G). You’d have to base it off deceleration rate or some (read “all”) teenage…
Totally agree - I’ve been wishing they would come out with some sort of graduated brake light where it gets brighter as you push harder, and eventually flashes to alert drivers when you’re slamming the brakes.
I once used up an entire tank of gas in 3 hours.
