Day-long hearings are excruciatingly boring for like, 99.9% of people on the planet, not just 10 year olds.

I’d also think day-long hearings would be EXCRUCIATINGLY boring for most 10-year-olds. Much moreso than I believe that watching mom not answer questions for a while is somehow traumatizing.

Any person’s religious beliefs should be questioned. Theoretically, we have separation of church and state.  Religion is just another form of corruption and power. If it weren’t there wouldn’t be so many of them.

Given that over half of the SCOTUS justices are Catholic, it’s hard to imagine that there’s anti-Catholic bigotry in these appointments. Non-religious people have a much stronger case to make (as do Protestants).
