As a mechanic in a large Freightliner fleet, good riddence MB, give us back Detroit 60 series, take your MB DD15 series with you in this divorce.

Why leave out the 70 series? a sure competitor to the wrangler/gladiator, build it in the US, no chicken tax. imagine, a reliable option to the FCA and Ford offering

the best of those were the Mack CH models, the dog removed and changed for a regular pull handle on the hood, Mack grill name removed and an aditional horizontal grill bar added

Any late FCA vehicle, a mix of Chrysler, Mercedes, Fiat parts and engineering, what could possibly go wrong?

every once in a while you will see a freightliner truck with a tacked on MB star on the grille, i would not brag on having a MB engine, they are just a pain to fix...

Freightliner Sprinter coming to an end by next year. only MB gone are the days sprinter sold by Dodge, and now Freightliner.

if its a gas engine i believe UPS its using a Ford chassi on the stepsides they are purchasing.

Ask any tech that had to deal with those Renaults. the Air to hydraulic system was a major pain...  the last Renaults that were badge Mack kept the Renault logo on the steering wheel.

Chevy has a far better recognition in South America than Isuzu, GM rebadge whatever they have had in their hands. Isuzu, Opel, hell even Volvo class 8 trucks (GM/White partnership)

Curious. Cummins, a giant engine supplier. and only the nissan ever got this engine? Lets be honest. Its not the inline 6 in the medium duty. the guys with Dodge can brag about. Its just not the same.

Freightliner chassi New York, Yikes, a Hudson County owner operators commuter, they are third hand hotel shuttles, then used as commuters to NYC, driven to the ground. GM use to be a big suzuki importer and rebadger, who will have the cojones to bring this awesome little truck to the US market. we need a true afordable competitor to the wrangler
