When will toyota realize there is a market for the 70 series here in the US. a perfect competitor to the wrangler

The manual trans option truly gone?  I had an 03 with a 5speed and a neuter cummins, if it was not for rotted frame...

about a decade ago i owned an fj43 (in colombia), shortly after it was stolen. i knew vwry little of the 4x4 market, move on to a tj(in the US). night and day. why would anyone pay this kind of money for something that can hardly do 55mph, hard to drive, and expensive to maintain is really beyond me. no i did not pay…

how about moving out of the rust belt, hire a car carrier for the move.

Defender becomes another overprice mom cushy suv(g wagon), toyota refuses to bring the 70 series to the us, new jimny is a 25 year dream, blazer is another cavalier on stillts, and everyone wonders why the used wrangler, fj40s, old broncos, prices are in the stratosphere.

Engine upgrade, what trans are they using?  Is it the stock trans?  How long will that last with that amount of HP?

riv nuts suck when the rust in place, just spin, ruining its mounting surfacenut, bolt washers, and access space. too much to ask?

When will 10 year car loan will be available? maybe a decade down the line, with one on 250k miles on its third engine.

transfercase? no? not an offroad vehicle...

How much of this “NEW” still based on the Ford Focus platform? New engine technology... no thank you, i do not want to be the mazda guinea pig, unless unlimited power train warranty.

Im sorry David, everything is made better with a SBC, LS, V8.  Specially Unreliable expensive Europeans, or Blow seals burn oil rotaries.

Disappearing clutch pedals, transfercase levers nit to be found.  Now the parking brake lever.  Whats next? brake pedal? steering wheel? 

to think. last gen mazda cx5 was a somewhat fun crossover with an available clutch pedal.  Sad awful times...
