I hope it has something to do with the new Captain Marvel movie. Like, they couldn't figure out a way to make Marvel's Captain Marvel not look stupid/confusing, and said fuck it, let's just change the studio's name slightly to clarify things.

I just worry it'll be a boring bit part that he'll be wasted on. I guess he managed to make the villain in Casino Royale reasonably interesting even without much screentime. But the bit of his character in the trailer here didn't seem too promising.
That's one of my favorite Simpsons lines period. Easily in the top, like, 100.
Part I follows a troubled young man who becomes obsessed with playing Tetris. Eventually the blocks start dropping on their own to spell out messages and tell him to kill. In Part II, a Tetris psychologist must enter the man's dreams to defeat the evil blocks. In Part III, the blocks escape the game and terrorize…
I miss that guy. Remember when "binders full of women" was our idea of a questionable statement for a candidate to make?
Yeah, she could have testified to her perception of him having generally good character without the victim-blaming bullshit. I guess technically she allowed that she isn't "blaming her directly," which, wow, how fucking magnanimous of Rasmussen to (partially) forgive the victim for pressing charges after being raped.
Hell, I was relieved after the attack. "Oh good, her throat's still intact."

You Might Be Surprised, But Your Unhip Ol’ Pops Actually Used To Be Quite The Meth Head
I disliked it at first. It didn't click with me until several listens, and then it started to make sense to me. For example, the rhythm on Bloom is just weird, and it seemed wrong at first. A lot of the tracks were like that for me. Now I love it, and I probably listen to TKOL most out of all their albums. I can get…
It's so low in detail, it barely scans as a camera. I choose to view it as a dog with one eye looking straight at me instead.
I'm glad they do it this way. I'm pretty serious about avoiding spoilers, and based on the comment sections for Netflix shows people here just can't resist spoiling things (sometimes even if they have another place to comment). If there weren't separate reviews I would just never read the comments for this show.

But what does your friend Matt Bacon think?
I actually liked it. I'm surprised, since things being off-beat is usually like nails on a chalkboard for me. But since all the individual parts are perfectly timed, it just ends up sounding sort of trippy rather than incompetent.

Starz! Hey everybody, Starz is back!
It seems like a lot depends on the attitude the creator of the art has toward religion. There's plenty of drama to be mined in Christianity, such as characters trying to understand God and the world and to resolve moral dilemmas. But if your attitude is that there is no need for struggling to understand things or to…

"Otherwise we're likely to see Abrams-ized Picard fight the Abrams-ized Borg in further sequels."
