I Found a Reason to be excited — I've got a Foggy Notion it'll be a Gift for VU fans. :)

"We’re sure he’ll find a way to work Julianne Moore in there somehow…"

Oh jeez, yeah, I can see how that could get super-annoying… I don't know if that would've been enough to put me off the film itself, but man, it would've taken all the willpower in the world to keep me from smacking that chick. :p

That whole episode was fantastic — I would put it a close second to the trivia-contest one as my favorite. :)

Wh-what're you doing…? GET OFF MY SISTER!!!

Aww, I loved 'The Full Monty.' :D (I'll go to bat for 'Waking Ned Devine,' too.)

Favorite films I saw — 'LA Confidential,' 'Waiting for Guffman,' 'The Full Monty,' 'In the Company of Men,' 'Wings of the Dove,' 'The Ice Storm,' 'In & Out.' 'Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery' (still one of my favorite filmgoing experiences ever), 'Good Will Hunting,' 'Bean' (I wrote a review of this for my

1997 was the latter half of my Junior year / first half of my Senior year in high school.

Oh, I know, but some sick part of me thinks the people involved in coming up with that ending should have to live with the choices they made.

I was just reading a piece the other day about NBC wanting to revive a bunch of their other shows like 'ER,' 'The West Wing,' '30 Rock,' and 'The Office':

Now that actually makes sense — to keep the show going without having to retcon the "book" reveal from the original finale. :)

Mmm-hmm. :)

I got the feeling that, because it is a family show (and genuinely family-friendly), the TCA voters probably consider it somewhat juvenile compared with the more adult fare that they recognized in the comedy categories; but I'm glad it got recognized for anything at all since it was completely ignored by the Emmys. :)

I have permanent grudge against that song… This dollar theater in Omaha I often went to in the mid-'90s would play music (then-current radio hits) between screenings, and I remember when my mom and I went to see Big Night, "Macarena" was the last song that played before the show started — I ended up loving the film

But the ball! His groin! It works on so many levels!

I used to be "with it." Then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't "it," and what is "it" seems weird and scary to me… It'll happen to you.

Gorilla, You're a Despacito

Oddly enough, while I was reading the piece there were quite a few times where I thought, 'Damn, that's way harsher than I would've been' and 'Why waste so much energy on these guys if you hate them so much?' :D

What would be even funnier if they did their songs in a completely different style (punk, thrash metal, lo-fi indie rock, power-pop, etc.).

They also did ones for the Rolling Stones and Billy Joel. o_O I must be a glutton for punishment because I read them (plus the Beatles and PF ones) all the way through.
