Porsches have been toward to the top of reliability ratings for a number of years now and the Cayenne is an obvious daily for many who can afford it. Is this that surprising?

I had to dig for it but its 17.2 cubic ft. As with most of these SUVs and Crossovers with 3rd rows, cargo room behind the last row isnt impressive.

Hands down, my favourite car now.  Holy shit

This car in brown (aka Mahogany Metallic) is the wet dream of the average Jalop.

reading this article, i realized that i can’t remember what i paid for my second car. but i remember all the rest. it was the first vehicle i financed through a bank, and purchased without my parents help, so i think i was mostly overwhelmed with the process...

100% true. We’re a different breed. Does anyone else remember every car their friends and family currently and have previously driven? I can’t be the only one. Sometimes I forget their name, but can remember the year and model car they drive.

$88,458

From the rear it looks like an old Mazda MPV

2 door is available with the V8??!!

Tell that to every joker in a King Ranch

#1, Nobody hits an object in the road and doesn’t stop. If you hit ANYTHING, an animal, a random piece of debris, etc. You stop the car, at least enough to check the car. I once hit a piece of tire on the interstate, I pulled the fuck over to check the bumper and lights. If it’s big enough to smash your windshield and

Meh, good technical excuse but we all know you can design just about anything today.  Next thing they’ll say is they made the steering wheel a square because their circle factory was at capacity and the square factory was at 50%.

That’s the gross-vehicle weight rating (GVWR), which is the combined weight of the vehicle and the amount of weight it’s rated to carry, including passengers. The weight for the Bentayga V8 is more like 5,326 lbs.

For what it’s worth, your GX has a GVWR of 6,600, which falls handily into the Section 179 tax deduction

HOW do they make the Bentayga weigh over 7,000 pounds?  Is it equipped with lead ballast for sound deadening?  It’s not a very large SUV, honestly, so I really can’t understand how it ends up weighing like 1,000 pounds MORE than a Suburban, and 2,000 pounds more than the Genesis?  That’s like hauling a Miata around on

That number is incorrect. Thats gross vehicle weight. Curb weight is 5,264 lbs.

So you’re saying “Why would you pay more for the same power/luxury as the continental, but in an even bigger more spacious cabin and more useful all around vehicle in general”? Kind of like saying “I don’t know why anyone would pay the same price as a Taurus for an explorer!

Mass market means large scale production to a large number of customers. Moving 10's of thousands of a model a year certainly qualifies.

Hmm.... electric version of the 904 Living Legend concept?

Everyone says this now while the stock keeps going up and up. It happens literally for every single bubble in history since fuckin tulip mania.

i saw a 2021 911 yesterday and i can confirm that the middle section stays illuminated on US models, contrary to what this post says.
