Bingo! This is what I’ve been saying. The computers are good enough to keep the truck on the road, to follow directions, to miss most of the obvious obstacles.

From the Facebook page linked:
My favorite part of the GTR was that using factory-provided launch control voided the warranty on the first few model years.
I’m sorry but you get a brand new vehicle with an all new layout and you just add nitrous?? That’s just foolish. I get that you want to test out the platform but ffs that’s just a recipe for disaster.
I mean...not really? The design languages of the two highly-dissimilar vehicles aren’t cohesive, but honestly, the craftsmanship and attention to detail is amazing. Especially for a 61-year-old, self-taught amature coachbuilder. Take into consideration that this was the guy’s first attempt; dude’s got chops!
I was off-roading near Breckinridge about 3 years ago. Telluride a couple years ago. Spectacular scenery.
Yea, it pretty much exists for every state but I’ve found https://www.trailsoffroad.com/ to be highly useful. Plus you can download maps of the trails to the Gaia app.
Buy a 4x4 trail book. Drive out to Colorado, Arizona, or Utah. You are welcome.
Gaia GPS has layers you can turn on and off to make sure you’re legally on terrain you’d like to go. It has many layers, showing if you’re in national forest, national park, BLM land, or private lands. Great resource, and not the only one out there.
I always joke the TLC no longer stands for The Learning Channel.
“Learning is gay.”
Its so sad to see what TLC is now, considering it was started by fuckin NASA
I have such conflicting feelings right now. On the one hand, I’m glad to hear some rolling coal assholes got what they deserved. [And NO V10omous, this is NOT the same as tuning your car in your garage for a little more whp.] But on the other hand, this saddens me to find out just how far Discovery Channel has fallen;…
Makes completely no sense how they built a business that way.
See, I would prefer that they have to buy back each and every truck and get it to pass smog at a California Smog Ref.
If I had a judgment against me like that, I’d have a Powerstroke.
