Where’s my PowerCore II + ? I’m ready to kick microusb to the curb and get dual 15w type C inputs (arguably a 15w C + a parallel 10w microusb would be even more flexible and useful).

While I’m no fan of the tethered cables, that’s a bit like turning your nose up at a Fiesta and pointing out that a double decker bus holds more people. Different sizes/classes of device exist for a reason - I’ve got my 20,000mah battery pack when I’ve got the room and need all the juice, I’ve got a 5000mah for

Yes, because it makes so much sense to take the end of a cable designed to wear out (to save your expensive devices from damage) and permanently tether it to your device. Or you could just get nearly any other battery pack on the market, most of which come with handy little pouches, and tuck a spare wire or two in the

Damn, what’s your power cost? We have crap central heat and occasionally spend a bitter cold evening boosting the temp a bit with the oven, it isn’t a huge hit in our bills.

I fix your problems by preheating my steel and oven to 550, and switching to broil a few minutes before putting the pizza in. Center rack. Nice crispy crust, cooked toppings and that hint of browning on the cheese all within 2-3 minutes.

Sounds like you’ve got one outlet per circuit in the kitchen there - you could install a GFCI breaker like someone else suggested. Or just stick with chargers - I’m still ambivalent on these things. So many crap chargers out there, dunno if I like putting one in the wall.

Sounds like you’ve got one outlet per circuit in the kitchen there - you could install a GFCI breaker like someone

Do you have only one kitchen outlet, or a circuit per outlet? You only use one GFCI to protect a circuit - could put the GFCI on the first outlet and USB chargers downstream from that outlet.

Gotcha. I admired the Moto X when I first saw it, but I already had a 6P by then, so I agree with your evaluation.

If you had a finger print reader it sorta sounds like you went from a 2016ish phone to a 2015ish phone.. and ran into a bunch of mediocre experiences. Seems expected.

Since you seem to be trying to make a point, I’m going to help you out a bit — Moto X Pure is a phone from 2015, so the comparison isn’t terrible.

I’m questioning how much of the car will even be functional with all that automation, if the company folds.

I might have to try that - I complained each time before, but went ahead and picked up my packages too.

Yeah - I understand most of the issue is my local carrier. He’s rude and obnoxious and a source of constant problems, and every complaint gets shrugged off - “Oh, your carrier is what’s-his-name? Yeah... Makes sense.”

Are they still using Smart Post for Pantry deliveries? Tried it twice, both times it went to Smart Post and my local mail carrier left the boxes at the office because they were too heavy - his exact words. No, he’s saying the steel that was damaged by the iceberg was submerged in the North Atlantic, so it couldn’t have become heat damaged - just like a pot can sit on the stove with water forever, but it warps and burns when the water is gone.

A thought... “The technology doesn’t yet exist to capitalize on this idea” could be a solid defense against a lawsuit like this. It could just encourage companies to let go of (or never get) patents they don’t intend to utilize, so perhaps it would apply pressure to get the patent field back towards the intended

Valid point. I do understand that patents can serve a useful function - but major companies seem to hoard them for nothing more than legal weaponry. I’d like to see that particular mindset reduced some.

Plus the potential that we could make some large corporations look with concern on their mountains of patents. Something that makes a pile of unused patents as much a liability as it is a weapon could do some good removing a weapon they use to slap around the competition with their armies of lawyers.

Alternative view - I’m a proponent of this lawsuit because of the possibility that it makes companies a bit risk adverse regarding their patent portfolios. If Apple gets in legal hot water over a patent they thought was a zero-risk investment in possible future lawsuits, they and other companies may rethink their
