So this and G+ are just the inspiration I needed to get around to syncing all of my photos from Picasa to Picasa web. Unfortunately, problem already — I want my girlfriend to have full control and access to all the albums as well. Sharing each album individually doesn't sound fun, and doesn't give full access anyway,…

They ask, on signup, if you'd like to link your Picasa and G+ accounts. Also, nothing is published by default — All your Picasa albums just become available choices when you go to view your private albums or choose a pic for sharing. Any sharing you've already got in place in Picasa rolls over to G+.
