I change to winter tires so that i can dodge everyone skating around on all-seasons when it starts to get a little slick out. Winter tires are cheap compared to fender-benders.

Agreed.
When it comes to ICE vehicles vs EVs, if all of your electricity came from coal, it would still be cleaner than ICE. The big coal plants are dirty, for sure, but they can produce electricity at a cleaner rate than the ICE vehicles burning gasoline, when everything is added up in the end.
Roadrunner, obviously.
I’m in the market for a two-stage blower. Looked at electric, but it sounds like they all free-wheel when going downhill. That would not work for my steep driveway. Current plan is to get a tracked hydro Honda before they quit making them.
Does anybody make a nice electric stander yet? I’ve got steep slopes, so need something agile. Currently using a Cub Cadet SX54 (prosumer ZTR with steering wheel so can be used on steeper hills).
Here’s one that’s free!* Get a large magnet to carry around in your pocket. A strong one will hold your screwdrivers and pliers while your up on a ladder, or will hold several dozen screw or nails so you always have them ready at your fingertips while putting something together (or taking something apart).
I’d suggest all three (small, medium and large). The small (e.g., Dewalt 120ft-lbs) is awesome for driving screws, much better than a cordless drill.
Honda Accord - made in Ohio since 1983 and holds the most slots in Ten Best car lists ever since then. Nothing really special about it other than its ability to take the drama out of car ownership.
You should check out the SavageGeese review on the Lucid Air Sapphire. They were extremely impressed with the car and tge company.
One knob on the left, one knob on the right. It’s worked intuitively well for hundreds of millions of drivers over the last 70+ years, in all kinds of vehicles, including my ‘19 Ridgeline.
Only because they never should have left the elegant two-knob setup.
Look at it! It’s stuck out there like a sore thumb!
I can’t believe they still put one ungainly awkward knob on the infotainment. Was that thing designed by clueless millenials?
I concur. Most of the Mazdas (except for the newest model or two) are made in Japan, so they have excellent fit and finish for their price point, as well as great reliability.
So... what’s the difference between an SUV coupe and an SUV sedan?
1st choice: any Honda with the non-turbo four-cylinder engine and manual transmission, that hasn’t been highly-modified. Reason: that powertrain is bulletproof and efficient, parts and support are abundant.
I’m curious what it will sound like, being a 60° V8 with 30° offset crank. I mean, the main reason for having a V8 anymore is for the sound. 😀
I've seen something similar, but it was something like a 3' diameter sawmill blade on the back of the sled, used for running across a frozen lake. Predecessor to the snowmobile, if you will.
If any kind of vehicle, i would also like to nominate the Allis Chalmers WD45 tractor from the 1950s. Many of them still used on small farms, for real work.
