They are at least five years too late to the game. When asked five years ago about a mid-size truck, Ram replied that they have the Ram Classic to fill that position.

1st Gear: Elon won’t care much as long as he gets max gov’t deregulation for his self-driving tech as well as Skynet, err, Starlink satellites so that he can have monopolistic control of near-earth space.

“Let’s make parking spaces larger!” = “Give a drunk a drink.”

That will never happen without severe regulation. Automakers have fogured out that they can charge a much higher percentage of profit for larger vehicles, and people continue to be dumb enough to pay that extra premium.

Eventually, people are going to figure out that EVs last a lot longer than ICE equivalents, and then that steep depreciation will evaporate.  Get your EV deals while you can!

I think the Jag convertible was an aftermarket option through a company called Lister, based out of Gary, Indiana. I may be mis-remembering, as it’s been about 35 years or so.....

Suicide knobs are meant for low-speed maneuvering, hence their popularity on tractors, forklifts, boats, etc. Same holds true for vehicles, except most folks aren’t smart enough to not use them above 10mph, which is why they gained their moniker and are typically illegal to use on passenger vehicles.

I thought somebody said popup headlights were now illegal in the U.S.?

I’m waiting for a revived Titan with Honda’s 350hp V8 backed up by a ZF 8spd. That would cause a lot of Big3 buyers to cross over to the brighter side.  Nobody argues that Honda makes great engines, and the ZF8 is considered a world-class RWD transmission.  What's not to love?

The issue is that Honda does not do BoF and RWD (except special cases like S2000 and NSX). Unibody construction makes the most sense up to a point, and that point is the Ridgeline. Go any larger than the Ridgeline and BoF is a better manufacturing process (lighter and much cheaper to build). Of course, the trade-offs

There aren’t many MIJ (made-in-Japan) vehicles available in the U.S. anymore, sadly. Mazda seems the exception, although they are slowly migrating models to U.S. production. The CX-5, with it’s impeccable fit and finish, is still made in Japan, but their new hybrid is made in the U.S.

At what point do we start experiencing medical issues, such as detached retinas or getting punch-drunk, from repeated massive-G accelerations?

Now we need the same list with ICE cars, and the same list with motorcycles. Then we can get a better reference of speed vs $$ vs tech.

South Dakota outlawed cloud seeding after the Great Rapid City Flood in 1973. No conclusive proof that the seeding caused the flood, but the devastation was enough to kill the program forever.

I read elsewhere that the transmission has options for two PTOs (power take-off). If so, that’s as big of news as any with this refresh.

Shoot, i saw Speed Buggy do this back in the 70s!

We went through four of these on the farm... a 90, 2 185s and a 200. I rode them all, probably rolled them all, but never got hurt. None of us kids got hurt. We never wore safety gear, either.

If he was a trump supporter, I’d have to guess that he was dis-illusioned by the partnership with Elon. To show his disdain, he elected to damage trump via some of Elon’s work, aka, the CT.

They need a version with the V6 for a value-leader package to at least get sales going.

I would actually buy a Titan if it was powered by Honda’s 350hp V8 and coupled to a ZF8 transmission. Heck, such a truck would probably outsell Ram, maybe even GM.
