2002 Accord, but it has to be four cylinder w/ five-speed manual. The automatics from that era didn’t hold up as well.

At what point do we stsrt to worry about detached retinas and other bodily harm from repeated high-G forces?
I can't believe nobody said Idle Stop.
Back in 1986, bkught one of these for around $2k, white with a orangish-tan interior. Had the sickly straight six. Couldn’t get rid of it fast enough, as the engine had a tendency to die when you stepped on the accelerator.
Tru dat. But i don't go in more than 3-footers. A big heavy boat doesn't pound nearly as bad as a small light one.
Four-foot draft seems like a lot, must have a pretty good V to the hull. I’ve hauled 3klbs cargo in less than 18" water, but it was a flat-bottom boat (2696).
Not necessarily a predator thing. Usually it’s a mother trying to get to babies on the other side of the road, or vice versa, or it’s a buck chasing a doe.
Depending on insurance, i might try dousing it with distilled water, or at least fresh water.
It will be nice when the wireless parking pads become available. No plugging / unplugging necessary.
I think my brother still has his, but it has been relegated to farm duty, having been t-boned by a drunk driver at an intersection a couple decades ago.
The LUV soldiered on after 1982 as the Isuzu P'up. My brother had an '83, with the diesel engine and manual transmission. He got 48mpg, although that was when the speed limit was 55mph.
Did they teach you the SIPDE method?
If i had one of these, i doubt I’d drive it further than 200 miles at a time, so the Electric (hence E-type 😉) might be an i teresting option.
At first glance, they look like Voith propellers...
Third Gear: this is neither here nor there, but i’d heard Kia / Hyundai will be building mid-size EV trucks in the U.S. for sale in 2026.
That’s right! I forgot ‘92 was the first year of the Magnum. It was rated at 230hp, then they dropped it to 220hp for the ‘93 model year.
I had a ‘92 with the 230hp V8, 10hp more than the ‘91 and ‘93 models. It was 2wd, extended cab with the 6’ bed. i could spin the (admittedly bad) tires at will. i could also change all eight spark plugs in less than 12 minutes.
Tesla batteries lose 12% capacity over 200,000 miles. Seems like it will be a while for decent batteries to go kaput.
The Ridgeline bed is quite a bit wider, though. And yes, i have hauled a few dozen sheets of plywood in it.
Exactly what i was getting at. My response was to the misleading title “most capable truck” without the offroading qualifier.
