My vanity plate will read "VANITY".

First Samsung Note battery fires, then Kia/Hyundai fires, then LG battery fires (ala Chevy Bolt). Does S. Korea have a lot of pyromaniacs?

I’ll take one with a V8 soundtrack. Doesn’t Ford already have this for their Mustangs? Artificial vroom sounds pumped into the interior car speakers?  Just route that feed to some external speakers...

What happens if you use these on an ICE vehicle?

Like the new Chrysler Airflow?

I believe those Daytona/Superbird cars had a Cd of 0.29 - that may have been before the rear wing was added, though.

Chrysler = luxury

They are looking at functional items for the Trailsport packages. They do have 1.5" lifts from Jsport, and it looks like Honda has engineered some in-house skidplates and recovery hooks.

“Honda is not typically a brand that you associate with off-roading.”

Counterpoint: you get the looks of an A/T tires without having to suffer the penalties of an A/T tire.

One of the problems is that it is the company having goods shipped that pays for the fuel.  The owners of the ship don't pay for the fuel, so they have little incentive to save fuel.  They just pass costs on to the shipper.

I’ve heard tell of a tornado ripping through a farm, flipping a tractor on its side, destroying building, but leaving an empty Styrofoam cooler sitting on the lawn untouched and unmoved.

1) snow tires vs chains is two different systems:

Agreed that winter tires should be on all four corners! However, many people on a tight budget will refuse and just go with two tires. They don’t consider the expense of an accident.

Apparently, these things are inflated, rather than using ram air.

I remember reading about these things over a decade ago. Seems to be taking a while to get the tech going.

No! You always want the tires with the best grip to be on the rear of the vehicle. It doesn’t matter if it’s FWD, RWD, AWD or 4WD.

Worst advice I’ve heard?

How about a subscription to remove Start|Stop or variable cylinder management? Or various nannies?

They need to test these auto-drive systems up north, where your typical hazards are very low angle of the sun, roads covered in ice/snow (no visible traffic lines), black ice in shady areas, loose gravel on pavement (for increased traction in wintry slippery conditions) that AI driving systems may not be prepared for,
