Your comment makes sense. It’s similar to how the F-150 had those special reinforcements to begin with in 2015 and it did much better with them in place in the SuperCrew than the SuperCab did without them. And those were basically there to deflect the front wheel it looked like too.
I, for one, love the look of the thing. It’s like an alternative future from the 1970s. I also can’t believe how fucking big it is. Why ‘Murica, why does everything have to be supersized here at the land of plenty? I mean, do we really need anything that’s that big, or are we so fucking fat that we just don’t fit…
The pikes Peak RDX was up to those numbers too, sounds like a similar engine.
More likely, FCA is
You know you can be a “car people” and think that building suburbs around car usage, driving a car downtown and removing catalytic converters to gain a few HP are all dumb ideas.
Im not defending their business or marketing plans. But I’m passing along what I read.
Adding kickstart back onto these bikes is a bolt-on affair. Yamaha makes a kit to do it or you can use old parts.
+1 CT90/110. Auto tranny little mountain goats.
I hadn’t seen concept this until now, but please excuse me while I change my shorts. As someone who learned to ride on a CT90, I’d buy one of these in a second.
Did you see the CT125 concept they had at the Tokyo motor show? Apparently they asked for US dealer’s opinions on bringing it here, so maybe.
Wow, a truck from when trucks still looked like work vehicles, not fashion statements you need a ladder to crawl in and out of, and this one has enough twist to do work too. Take care of it and your purchase price will be the bottom of the depreciation curve, and you will have a handsome, useable truck. Easy nice…
I had the occasion to borrow a truck much like this one to drag a Mustang on a car trailer through Turnagain Pass in Alaska. I had never experienced the utter contempt the truck had for the trailer, it refused to acknowledge that it was behind it and drove like it was completely unfettered. Not only that, but did 25…
I was just running searches a couple of days ago for various types of swaps done on these (engine, tranny, fascia). I’m not nostalgic about many vehicles, but the Dodge Magnum is one of them. So much so, that I’m seriously considering buying one when my current lease is up.
It has a GVWR of 10,001 lbs (which I think makes it a Class III vehicle), which puts it into a different class of vehicle. One that is street legal, but does not have to meet the same safety standards as standard passenger cars, including airbags.
Got my snow tires on just the other day in time for our first multi-day snow storm here in CO.
Bought my 2003 Acura CL-S 6 speed in 2004, been daily driving ever since. Maintenance/repair starting to add up but still way cheaper than a new car and it’s been very reliable. Also looks decent and I still enjoy it. Sure I’d love a new fun car but I’d rather keep the money.
Unlike a turbine that’s used to push a plane, one running a generator doesn’t need that much thrust since its main function is to spin the generator. I believe the term used for these is ‘aeroderivative gas turbine’. Apparently they are similar to a turbojet, but completely different. You can’t swap one for the other…
Get rid of these damned autoplay videos with sound!
