Given that it’s an ELECTRIC vehicle, i prefer that it float as long as possible before it becomes flooded with water. :P

In most vehicles, the power windows will continue working for up to a minute after the vehicle is submerged in water.
With apologies to The Cars, “I kinda like the way, like the way she dips!”.
Nice Flerken...
Ya gotta wait with your tea and tacos...
Thoughts & musings:
IIRC, Bright Yellow is the American racing color (i had a toy corvette when i was a kid that was yellow with red tinted windows - sharp-looking!), Vivid Green is the British racing color, and Fiery Red is the Italian racing color. I forget the others.
My last car was silver, because i was too…
The answer to the question:
I figured this is why Toyota keeps the cab so small - it better fits those little militia guys.
I don’t know. This article may help:
Agreed, and i am big on securing the load. I see a lot of folks who don’t, though.
I don’t know if Honda tested to 1700lbs.
Ah, then you obviously have not driven one! They're sweet.
One of the reasons i got a Ridgeline is because Honda tested the bulkhead to keep 1100lbs cargo from intruding into the cabin in a crash. I don't think any other pickup manufacturer tests that (and probably for good reason on their part).
1) trucks are the preferred choice for the coming apocalypse.... they can go offroad when the roads are blocked by zombies.
Sounds like a good Jalopnik article. “What vehicles are able to run without a battery?”
What about running the engine hot enough to burn off condensation so that the exhaust system doesn’t rust out? Or so the engine doesn’t make oil?
Most any dirt bike or small motorcycle that’s older than, say, 30 years, can also run without a battery. I doubt amy modern motorcycles can manage that feat, though. My guess would be the Yamaha TW200 would have maybe been the last one (in the U.S.) to be able to run without a battery, nut i wouldn’t know the year.
These things would be cool on a motorcycle! Beats the ol' plumb bob.
Another cool toy is a bicycle computer. I attached one to my old pickup truck when i changed tire size. The bike computer was around $25 and way more accurate than the factory speedo/odo, and also included multiple trip computers, max speed recording, average speed, etc. Pretty cool stuff back in the 90s.
1st gear: Well yeah, the best time to pass controversial legislation is when everybody is preoccupied with bigger fish (COVID). Create a distraction over there while we get away with murder over here, etc. Same as releasing bad news at 5pm Friday when nobody wants to pay attention and just get their weekend started.
