Instead of Scout, maybe they could call it Webelo... as in “we below”, not “we be loyal”...

I wonder how many people would lose their mind if white, black and those 50 shades of gray disappeared from automakers palettes for a couple years?
I put a beanbag in the car so that Fido could see out the window better. Now he says we have to have it all the time...
The bed is a little short at 64", but it is also quite a bit wider than the other mid-size trucks. I’m seriously shopping the Ridgeline because it’s bed is so much better than the other trucks, and it has much more utility.
They need to mount headlights on trucks and SUVs lower, like down by the bumper. This would allow a better angle to shoot light further down the road without blinding oncoming drivers. However, it will make the truck/SUV look goofy, so will never happen until NHTSA figures it out and mandates it, which will be 20-30…
The mid-size truck market sorely needs competition. The current crop could be SO much better than it currently is.
There are a lot of little trucks in Mexico - Ram 700, Chevy Tornado are everywhere. People there buy what they need, as opposed to the U.S. where people buy what they want.
VW will probably own Ford within ten years.
Tacoma and Ridgeline have used composite beds since 2005/6 - they hold up very well. Google “Ridgeline rock dump” for an example.
Until the Chicken Tax goes away, i don’t care where it is made.
Nissan has an opportunity to really shake up the mid-size truck market, because most of the current crop of mid-size trucks is just crap.
Fair enough. Btw, sand mode will lock the rear diff, but you can’t locknthe front diff, so at that point you would have three wheels pulling. Perhaps with the e-brake engaged slightly, power could be transferred to that other wheel. There is also a way to turn off VSA completely (unstuck mode), which can help in some…
Build a framework out of PVC and add 4-6 low-profile fixed sprinkler heads along the perimeter....something like these:
I would like to know what the towing limitation is....is it limited by the electric powertrain, the DCT, some combination? I expect this drivetrain to make its way to the Ridgeline, but zerotowing will be a no-go for the vast majority of buyers.
Probably a very bad driver. The current MDX has one of the most advanced and capable AWD systems on the market right now. If that MDX was stuck in sand, the driver should have lowered tire pressures ahead of time and used ‘Sand’ mode.
My pet peeve is after the flight, at baggage claim. Everybody runs up and stands right next to the baggage conveyor, hugging it. Obviously, they have not seen “A Beautiful Mind”. If everyone would take ten steps back, it would work so much smoother.
Did you guys try Water Wetter? ;)
I’d like an old school H/U with knobs and buttons, and have a display output that can be piped into a larger touchscreen that also doubles for navigation, CarPlay, etc. Then, if you want, you can upgrade the H/U for a hondo or two that also has a display output. See where i am going with this? Modularity and upgradeabi…
Well, they have that 3.0L turbo V6 in their pocket... maybe twin turbos, or hybrid at least.
I like this car, but i could never keep it stock. This is one of the most-modifiable platforms out there. Lotsa upgrade parts, suspension parts, upgrade the engine, wheels, shocks, bushings, etc. Even swap out the bench for some nice buckets.
