A bit difficult to haul a garden tractor or ATV in a minivan. And no, i don't have room to store a trailer. Also, minivans and compost don't go together all that well.
Modern full-size trucks have gotten too tall - it is getting harder to load/unload things in the bed, or reach over the side to get something out. One reason is because of the towing wars, they need bigger wheels to house bigger brakes, and bigger wheelwells for more payload...all of that raises the bed height.
You forgot the Ridgeline, arguably the best mid-size truck out there unless you need a rock crawler or you are one of the <10% that tows more than 5000lbs. It was designed in the U.S. and is the most-American pickup truck you can buy.

I think a better solution would be to either 1) mirror the seam with a fake seam on the left, or 2) add black rallye stripes to hide the seam.

Single cab is great for the ranch or the desert. I see more and more fleet trucks being crew cab (to hold a work crew) or extended cab (to hold extra work gear in climate-controlled environment).

Honda is a strange company. It’s like they give us about 10% of their capability.
The same company owns both automotive and motorsports divisions, as well as other divisions, but they have been highly-compartmentalized, meaning very little sharing of engineering and parts.
On good roads, the F150 will ride almost as nice as a Ridgeline, if properly equipped. The Ridgeline does handle much better, but is boring in that it requires little driver input.
Because it is a crappy truck. Highly-priced for what you get. Oh, you can get any interior color you want, as long as it's black.
