There is a guy over on the ROC that hauled a yard of bull rock home in the bed of his Ridgeline. That’s probably north of 2500lbs.

Why, exactly, does the Chicken Tax still exist? At first glance, one would think it was due to Trump’s FART (Fair And Reasonable Trade) policy. Although his farts aren’t doing the CT any favors, it’s had decades to be banned before the present defunct administrationIs it due to UAW lobbyists?

They they don’t sell many because they don’t build many. It shares plant space with Pilot and Odyssey, which are both higher priority for Honda.  The Ridgeline is just a line filler.

The Ridgeline looks funny because it’s got the same sheet metal as the Pilot. If it weren’t for the Pilot, we wouldn’t have the Ridgeline at all.  You have to take the bad with the good.

Didn’t i see that in the Red 2 movie?

Remember that Honda Civic commercial from the 1970s where they asked, “What if everyone drove a Civic?”?

I like Jeep, but if they keep Roxor out of the U.S., then they are dead to me.

Ok, Jaguars aren’t sleepers, but I’d love to have an e-type with the Civic Type-R engine. Or even that new straight six that Merc has...

Rotary valves (plates) would be better, but i haven’t seen or heard of any prototypes.

There is a certain elegance to simplicity.

Yeah, the newer ones get 4-5mpg better, which is a huge jump when you think about it. It would probably get 18 pulling that Basecamp, depending on terrain, elevation, etc.

That’s a nice trailer, but i’d much rather be pulling it with a Ridgeline. More comfortable, better driving experience, trailer well within tow limits, towing mpg will be within a couple of the Ford diesel, and the truck will be OH SO MUCH BETTER than the F150 when the trailer is not hooked up.

If you’re not too concerned about oem parts, you might look at some other makes. In particular, my brother has an ‘87 Dodge W250 with a vinyl bench seat that looks very much like yours (except his is blue), and his has a four-on-the-floor shifter with a long shift handle and two odd bends in it.

Well, i saw a dude make a bicycle tire out of a pool noodle, so yeah...

I especially liked how they (Michael Mann?) synchronized the thunderclap in the song with the door slamming on the car.

Whenever i get a little heated in traffic, my wife/co-pilot reminds me that we don’t know what is going through that other driver’s mind. Maybe they just lost someone or they are about to lose someone, or have a medical illness.  Probably rarely the case, but it puts things into perspective and helps calm me down.

My classic sleeper was to be a mid-80's Dodge Diplomat with the full cop suspension treatment, and a MoPar 355 engine (yeah, 440 is nice, but way too heavy - i want this sucker to handle!). Second option is a Jag XJS with said MoPar 355. Third option is Chrysler Conquest with said MoPar 355 in it, although i’d settle

Yeah, it is horrible. i was in a hurry and grabbed it off utube. There are a lot more there, just search “brothers in arms miami vice”. My connection is slow right now.

Now playing

Can’t believe no one has posted this yet:

Aside from the argument on the validity of taxes, most missing the point of these tariffs. It is not about fair trade or protectionism.
