Anecdotal evidence is that there are usually not enough nurses on staff, from a scarcity of talent, or a scarcity of the facility’s desire to pay for them (mostly seems like the latter, frankly). The few nurses who remain can be overworked and cranky. Like the rest of us in similar circumstances.
