Prii handle pretty well too. I tear through my village's roads all the time, never got so much as a slip. Can't say the same for my Focus, though... heck, the Focus did better than my RX-8... :*(

Not sure if that's sarcasm or not...

Also did 95mph, and then OMG state trooper in the median! Zoomed round the next corner and dove off the exit before he came around that corner (if he did come out after me). Never saw him again, and I cooled down for the rest of the day. Whew *wipes sweat off brow*

Probably stalling due to improper maintenance, or stopping to check for trains as many drivers as advised to do, in case of a signaling failure (which can happen), or to go slowly over the rails as many grade crossings tend to be very bumpy.

Fortunately, two of the intersections I pass over are safe, one's got an

She was actually at a red light, Commerce Street has a light at the intersection of the Taconic Parkway, but 50 feet down Commerce street is a railroad track... The train gates came down, probably right when the light turned green. And we know the rest.

I usually floor it when approaching a grade crossing. In my mind, this gives me enough speed or power to make the crossing and not get stalled. People tend to slow down at grade crossings to either check for actual trains coming (in case of signaling failure), or to avoid being rattled by the bumpy junction. This slow

I think vehicles tend to stall on tracks because people stop to check the tracks for trains, and also drivers slow down because at-grade crossings can be fairly bumpy. That's just speculation, though it does make sense with big rigs (their slow acceleration rate doesn't give them enough force, maybe?).

My dad takes

She was stopped on the tracks for a red light. Mistake #1. Light turns Green just as the crossing gates come down on top of her car, but she thinks something different, so gets out to do god only knows.

I for one think she knew the train was coming and in a panic, overshot R on the shifter, mistakenly went into D and

The auction for Marussia's assets was cancelled at the last minute, so IF Haas did bid on the factory, he doesn't have it. And According to Autoweek, Gene Haas denied interest in Marussia's assets.

I did have '94 Civic, white with hyper-blue Altezzas... My car was the only one I've EVER seen then or since with hyper-blue Altezza lights.
