This is a money grab by Apple, which will now make a shit ton of money selling new headphones (including Beats, which they own), licensing to manufacturers, and selling tons of dongles, which totally defeat the purpose of saving space in the phone. Apple didn’t do this out of courage; they did it out of greed.
