The thing a lot of people seem to want to gloss over or just downplay is that, ya, Nintendo may release only 2 games - but they are just REALLY GOOD GAMES. Like, really really good.

Ok, now where are all those people from a few days ago criticizing Nintendo, their strategy, their choice in console building, and their “limited titles”?

Happily admitting again that I was wrooooooong about the Switch. Congrats to Nintendo, and I’m looking forward to grabbing one.

What, no Harry Belafonte?

I think your use of “seducing” warrants a nice, healthy fuck off.

Resident buzzkill chimes in to kill buzz.

Next SNL movie:

Someone needs a nap.

But that’s exactly it. The portable thing. What’s hard to understand about that? Being able to play wherever, and then if you want, put it in your dock and play on your tv when you’re home. Not hard to comprehend why some people would prefer the Switch for that reason. That’s a major advantage. Not everyone cares

Yeah, for me at least it’s absolutely the portability and flexibility; not just the ability to take it places, but to use it while something else is on the screen, or just because handheld gaming is more comfortable. It’s not just this game, I want EVERYTHING on Switch because it is so awesome.

Don’t cold-call them, their motto is “No Surprises (please).”

I can already see it...

I don’t call Coldplay at all. Don’t ever want to talk to those guys.

The only thing that unites the American Right is their fondness of pissing of liberals with abject bullshit. This is merely the pop culture equivalent of Climate Change denialism.

I always thought one of the creepiest was Phantump. Looks cute, but then you read the Dex entry and discover that they’re really the souls of dead children.

I really loved the original mobile game, not just because it was a great Steven Universe game (that managed to pretty perfectly use RPG conventions to represent the story and setting in a way that few RPGs are able to) but because it also was a great example of how to do a fun lighthearted RPG designed around the

The beautiful thing about this PA offering, is that you can apply it to damn near every secondary studio and title EA has acquired over the years... and it would feel just as accurate.

Paul Luther’s ending was what really made me understand the game I was playing. It was so abrupt, it didn’t even register for a couple seconds, like, “wait...that can’t be.”

Such a fantastic game. If you’re wondering why people were willing to give Silicon Knights an endless pass despite making nothing of note for most of the aughts*, play this game.
