The ghost houses in Super Mario World scared me, partly because I was a kid and that music was dang effective, but also the fear that i’m trapped in a house and CAN’T GET OUT was pretty scary too, to be honest.

Well count me in. I loved El Shaddai. It was a truly interesting game with a beautiful art style (that gave me vertigo a couple of times to be honest) and characters that really made me think. I hope it comes westward.
