Probably because of the garbage CVTs they started putting in everything in the late 2000s.

Back in the olden days of the early 2000’s, I was one of the handlers for a Dub Magazine H2. It had 22” or 23” wheels when it was the new hot size, and it was fitted with Pirelli’s that were new to the market. It was like driving the Nimitz, but with less visibility and a bigger turning radius.
Also, cars have gotten so much better in so many ways. Justifying buying a new car over one that’s as old as 8- 10 years is getting harder every year. Unless cutting edge safety, tech, crazy high MPG, and impressing the neighbors are all at the top of your list of needs, buying a slightly used vehicle (or even…
Pilot droids are a thing. L3-37 in Solo was a pilot droid. She(?) was mostly used for navigation but apparently quite capable of flying the Falcon before becoming a part of it.
IG-88 was built to kill, and seemed pretty happy to do it from the moment he was turned on. And 4-LOM was a protocol droid turned bounty hunter, even though it was blamed on a ‘glitch’.
Has Star Wars ever recognized the laws of robotics? Hasn’t R2 tasered people or sentient life forms? I don’t know the depths of droid canon, but at least some droids are self aware enough to choose to fight and/or make a sacrifice.
If the Empire or whoever are blowing up entire planets and destroying stars on a whim, I’d guess the space battle etiquette book should be pretty thin.
Do these same people write for cooking sites? Last time I looked up details for cooking a stuffed chicken breast, I had to wade through a story that went back through 3 generations of family history and a dozen high res photos of chicken before I got to cook time and temperature.
BMW does have a nice turbo 4 and a FWD/AWD platform, so sure, why not?
Lol...Minnetonka BMWs waiting area is a little nicer than Motorwerks, but Motorwerks is a lot closer to me. I try to avoid spending time in either one, but the oil changes are relatively cheap.
That listing is just for the engine. Or a window regulator. The listing is all over the place and makes it hard to tell.
That’s what junkyards are for. You can still get parts for 80’s cars that were on the cutting edge of the digital revolution, and most of them are pushing 40.
So, other than the goofy price, can someone explain what’s so bad about the current 370Z?
My wife is a non car person, and she loves the Flex. It’s just bigger than we need. She drives a Kia Soul, and loves the boxy styling of the Flex. I like the Flex too, but we rarely have more than 2 people in a car these days.
Yeah, NOW. But the ultimate middle finger from a kid to their parents would be buying that twin turbo 300zx that their dad always wanted and that their mom’s first boyfriend actually had.
“I can’t hear you from downstairs...come up if you want to talk.”
I just turned 46, and since I saw this concept years ago, I said I’d buy a new one if they made it a reality. It’s the Scion syndrome of us olds loving what was made for the ‘utes’, but youth is wasted in the young. And us old folks have great credit and (almost) zero student loans.
I don’t understand why APPLE won’t contact the original owner?
