He’s actually regarded as kind of a nerd. But he ran a great campaign; he took the moral high road and it paid off, because Canadians were sick of the cynical, negative, divisive politics of Harper.

My family is Canadian, so I can speak with some authority: Justin is a very common name in Canada.

I get a good vibe from this guy. I picked Clinton in 1991 and Obama in 2004, and I accurately predicted exactly to what degree each would please and disappointment in turn. I think he’ll have the instincts to move to the left, but I think he’ll make some mistakes along the way, but none being disastrous.

He’s not all sunshine and roses. Trudeau was instrumental in helping the Conservatives roll in Bill C-51 and some other dodgy stuff. However, here’s hoping for some positive change over here in Canada! Anybody has to be better than the Harper Regime....

I haven’t smoked since Sept 24!!!!!!!!!!! And I’ve started running again and wow, I can breathe. Sometimes I take a deep breath and I’m genuinely surprised how good it feels and that I don’t start coughing like crazy. Amazing.
