Who claimed that the machine gun humanized warfare? I'm sure in context that quote makes sense, but out of context it's bizarre.

I don't doubt that the first guy was crazy (he clearly is), but when he's talking about "text needs" it makes me feel like were missing some part of the story. Like I said, he's clearly crazy, but sometimes two people can be crazy.

Alternative opinion: No it isn't.

I did the NYC too either the first or second year it opened up. I didn't think it was very scary and it was really short. Making you go by yourself is a cool idea, though. I think the best bang for your buck are the two haunted houses at Coney Island. Just classic haunted houses without the lame theatrical stuff the

Exorcist

It's meant to be a little scary, but you're right, it's not horror and shouldn't be viewed through that lens at all.

Slant Magazine had it as the number one horror movie of the last decade. I was pretty bored, too (and I love slow-paced "boring" movies). It wasn't horrible, but it wouldn't even make my top twenty.

Aw hellllllll no. I hated this movie, although it was hyped for me beyond belief. My guess is that if it weren't hyped I just would have never given it a second thought. In terms of New French Extremism, I much preferred Frontiere(s) and Inside. Also, We've had at least 5 or 6 excellent horror movies over the last two

I don't think there's a gender divide at all. I know plenty of women who don't like Sansa and plenty of men who don't like Jon Snow. It's a personality divide. Also, I like Sansa and Stannis (mostly Melisandre) and am bored by Jon Snow and Daenerys. I am also a guy.

It would have been so easy to make "Margaret" "Margaery." I can't award you any points.

Erin already responded, but the point isn't that she's a female, it's that her character is an OB/GYN. It doesn't help to deflect every criticism into a man vs. woman issue.

Pulp Fiction

Well, you seem like an open-minded person.

"In 1996 I filmed a video in the MuchMusic booth about my hatred for SMASHMOUTH."

Oh my god. Shut up.

This is just me falling in line with this entire article, but it's ridiculous to believe the left is more circumscribed than the right. They both are for sure, though.

Population density. Some of those deeply red bits that cover large portions of the West have less than a million people (some probably have closer to 1,000 people) in them while New York City is a tiny dot with over 8 million people.

Thanks for joining the rest of us who realized this when the movie first came out (I think I was 18 at the time). It's garbage fantasy, a collection of indie tropes and quirky elements parading as emotion. Watching the trailer for his latest movie looks like he's actually gotten worse, if anything.

I'm dumb.

You think the actual future is more desirable than a utopia?
