Same with websites. The number of people who constantly visit Gawker Media to say how shitty it is every single day is amazing. Either they think they're going to single-handedly take down the operation one irate "SJW" post at a time or they love the pain of being insulted.

Stop arguing with people. There are maybe 10 people on Twitter who are funny enough to get in an argument without looking like a child. You're probably not one of them. You're going to show your ass. If something really makes you mad, mute the person, or close Twitter and go do something else.

No. 1 here is really the only important one. Twitter is customizable, so you don't have to see the bad, dumb people if you don't want to. If Twitter makes you angry, you have no one to blame but yourself.
