They’re not bad at killing, though.

You could turn your question around and ask, what kind of drug kingpin would trust the murder of his wife’s lover on some random bunch of doofuses?
Not if you’ve ever known a human being. I’m not saying this story is true, but anybody will fuck anybody anytime, especially if there’s danger involved. No one knows why. We all think we’re good but want to get away with being bad, and we all think we’re immortal but we want to face death.
It’s a lock that this story is going to get weirder before it gets normaler.
I hear ya. But if anything in this life is certain, if history has taught us anything, it’s that you should never trust a team doctor.
Didn’t even Wojnarowski on ESPN say the problem with KD’s calf injury was that he was likely to overcompensate and hurt his Achilles as a result? I feel like the morning SportsCenter anchors talked about that specifically before Game 5. Very hard to believe the Warriors could possibly believe the real risk was a…
I still blame Zaza Pachulia.
I’ll say Stammen has it worse because Eickhoff’s outing is sure to be redeemed when Bryce Harper steals home later in the game.
She’d better stay out of California.
Not a good month PR-wise for the Dominican Republic.
I feel kind of bad for Craig Stammen, but I really hope this happens to Baumgarner one day, just to watch him lose his voice yelling at all the home run hitters going 1-2-3-4 on him.
ESPN is reporting the NBA issued this statement, banning Stevens from all nba games while the matter is under review. Hoping they make it a lifetime ban.
Yeah, the Merc used to be on the verge of becoming sort of *the* national news outlet for Valley stories, but they seemed to just miss grabbing that ring. The hedge fund fucks gutted the paper, as you note, and I suspect they did it precisely to prevent having an investigative unit in their own backyard. I feel like…
And Cooley would accuse the player of being a drunk and then ask Snyder if he could try out for the team at training camp again.
PS: Laura, you should also reach out to those beat reporters and ask them why they tried so hard to avoid doing their jobs and protected Stevens after he did what he did. I’d love to read their answers — I mean excuses.
And for some reason, one that probably begins with “access” and ends with “is poison,” none of the Warriors beat writers, who are most knowledgeable about the team and its owners, reported the news either.
That whole series was a lot of fun to watch. The crowd is so into the game, the cameras and mics pick up every bit of chatter from the players, the fielding was (generally) excellent, the pitching ridiculous, and the late-inning bombs were timed for maximum drama.
Four would’ve been better. Season 5 was dreck.
No weirder than the shows that actually went on the air 50 years ago. It will surprise no one to learn that some of these shows are not excellent.
